Thomas, also known as Galactron is the leader of the Luminators, and the only one to appear in media aside from a comic series.
He appears in both the David & Jennifer Skelly comics (along with Amp, Tesla and Watt) and three commercials about the Luminators, a brand of shoes by Skechers, where part of his superpowers (or suit-powers) are shown.
He appears to like going out at night (probably while also wearing his unique shoes) when he's not with his team, and on one of his night walks, he just so happens to come across his archnemesis, the Under Overloard, but after a quick fight above earth, he saves the day (or night)!
Overview & Appearance[]
He is able to control gravitational fields (although, this could easily make him the strongest of the team, as he could circumvent weight, by neutralizing it!), able to shoot energy beams from his hands, could float in mid air, his shoes are also fitted with thrusters, but mainly he (Thomas) can transform into his hero self by shouting his battlecry.
His battlecry is "Luminators, go!"
In his human form, Thomas' appearance is a brown-haired boy between the ages of 10 and above, who in the comics, wears a orange-teal sleeved T-shirt with an orange "0" on it, whereas in the first commercial he wears a blue sleeved T-shirt with a big orange stripe with a greenish "OO" on it, both of these versions of Thomas wear blue sweatpants and of course his team's namesake shoes.
Thomas can also transform into Galactron by stomping his foot (with his shoes on) hard on the ground and yelling his battlecry out loud at the same time, promptly activating his suit (his shoes might also be integral to said suit) to envelop his body. Its unclear how the suit retracts after being used or where the actual retracted suit is on Thomas or how it can envelop him fully.
In two commercials, his shoes share some common features:
- A "futuristic" design
- Black, green and silver colors
- One big velcro strap with a light source in the middle of it
- Two other lights near the toes

- Throughout his appearances in three different commercials, his shoes' model changes.
- According to one commercial, he (Thomas) could turn into Galactron by (as mentioned before) stomping his foot and yelling out his battlecry, which might suggest that his shoes are voice-activated, and in turn activates his suit.
- The "Spaceship" shoe model's main light is shaped like a chevron and either resembles a comet or a down arrow.
- The "Space Car" shoe model's main light is a triangle with an illustration of Galactron in it.
